Mahaska issued the following announcement on Aug. 9.
Marketing Manager, Paul Fenton, has been with Mahaska for 10 and 1/2 years! Before coming to Mahaska, Paul worked for other notable beverage distributors in the Iowa region. Get to know more about him and what his day is like below.
What does a typical day at Mahaska look like for you?
The first thing I do is make sure all the routes are being ran and if not we make sure the open routes are filled. Take care of any unanswered emails, process any bills, manage any new product request for softdrink, coffee and beer, meet with any suppliers, employees, customers, update and create promo sheets for our sales people, make sure the warehouse has adequate inventory and the product is correctly rotated, help forecast and order softdrink, coffee and beer.
Once that is done if time is left I will go in the market and make sure the sales people are providing the best and freshest products we can provide. I don’t think any day has been in the same in the last 25 years in the beverage industry. Things pop up and we fix them and make sure our customers and employees are taken care of.
